Things to do

• The Green Caves to the north is a beautiful system of underground caves formed by volcano eruptions 5000 years ago.
• Snacks and a cold drink atop Mirador del Rio is a must. The spectacular view across the sea, overlooking the neighbouring islands is simply breathtaking.
• Playa Chica is a small sheltered cove in Puerto del Carmen. It is a safe, shallow bay good for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling. Popular with families, it's best you get there early.
