The lovely village of Mijas nestles in the mountainside overlooking the glorious Mediterranean; however Mijas Costa stretches over 12 km of villages, lining the coast. The village itself is steeped in old Andalucian traditions and customs and boasts narrow cobbled streets with craft shops and galleries; whist the beach area is much more modern, with a good range of water sports including waterskiing, wakeboarding and windsurfing.
