OverviewBuilt on and around two large hills, Puerto Rico on Gran Canaria’s south west coast is a year round holiday destination. There are three main shopping centres with regular bus services connecting each one, and taxis and local bus services if you don’t fancy walking around the town.

Special walkways of stairs have been built into the hills so that walking is Puerto Rico is not quite so steep. Travelling out of Puerto Rico is easy too, with the stylish resort of Maspalomas and bustling Playa del Ingles, a short hop away.
