Overview
Torremolinos was the first resort to be developed for visitors on the Costa del Sol and is located just 7 km west of Malaga airport. Over recent years, it has become a more appealing location than is generally expected, with good beaches, a superb choice of hotels and apartments, extensive selection of land and sea based activities, and wonderful nightlife and restaurants. Shopping whilst on holiday in Torremolinos is excellent with not only gift shops and clothing emporiums, but well known boutiques and craft stores too. El Bajondillo is the old fishing district and very picturesque with a great selection of restaurants and shops selling souvenirs.
