Overview

Originally a Neoclassical Palace that has been listed as a heritage building, the Catalonia Portal de l'Angel was built in 1876 and converted to a hotel in 1998. Many of the original features have been restored such as the baroque motifs, the interior courtyard and beautiful marble staircase. One of the most appealing features is the hotel garden where guests can enjoy breakfast and generally relax. The location is also fantastic for the shoppers amongst you, being minutes from Plaza Catalunya / La Ramblas.
