Why the Lake District?
This breath-taking region of the UK is set amongst the Cumbria Mountains. The Lake District is the largest of our treasured National Parks and is renowned for the great outdoors and its vast range of holiday activities from water sports, mountain biking and hiking. With 16 lakes; the most well-known being Windermere, Coniston and Grasmere, the Lake District also has four mountains, Scafell Pike being England’s highest. In addition, the Lake District has a rich history and culture to explore.
